Each image begins as an act of attention — to light settling on a face, to the weight of a quiet room, to what remains when nothing is asked of it.

Tenoir’s work moves between commissioned portraiture and long personal series made over months or years. The photographs are released as small signed editions, printed in the studio on archival paper.

Recent work has been exhibited in New York and collected privately across Europe and North America.
