Made in a single afternoon in a borrowed room in New York, Veil Study opened the series On Concealment — photographs about what a face chooses to keep.
The print is made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, a cotton paper with a soft, matte surface that holds the deep blacks of the hat and veil without shine.
